The town of Takikawa, in Japan, has been suffering from dangerous wild bears attacking their countryside. To deal with this issue, the town arranged 'monster world'-like robots, which have apparently successfully fended off all the dangerous creatures.

The monster wolves are complete with motion detectors that sense the wild bears as they approach. The robots would then go off with flashing lights, an array of howling sounds, and moving its head. The robots are made by the Asian company Ohta Seiki.

It was reported that the bear appearances have been at a five-year high in the country sides of Japan and many attacks have taken place this year. Two people have died from the attacks.
