A huge performance of “Dákiti” by Benny Blanco with Jhay Cortez at the American Music Awards last night was forced to be removed off the performance list without an explanation. It was announced today that the reason was the singer and rapper Bad Bunny has tested positive for Covid-19, forcing him to tune in to the live show virtually to present an award.

It was unclear the reason for the switch to a remote presentation, but his publicist, Sujeylee Solá, stated to the Associated Press today that the reason was that he tested positive for the virus. Benny Blanco is not taking any interviews personally, reported the AP.

His album “YHLQMDLG” won favorite Latin album at the AMAs. In his acceptance video, Blanco said: "To all the people who listen to me, who support me, who always believe in my music, I always do it for you. To Latinos running the world, I love you.”
