Are you familiar with celebrity Bill Hader? No, he is not an FBI Agent? And I am not even sure if he ever played one on television or even in the movies. However, I do know that no one embraces true crime as much as Bill Hader.

 Bill Hader & True Crime?

William Thomas Hader Jr. is an American actor, comedian, writer, producer, and director. He rose to fame as a cast member on the NBC variety series Saturday Night Live for which he received four Primetime Emmy Award nominations and a Peabody Award.

The Emmy-winning funnyman is always chatting, concerning his true crime obsession, which entails watching hours of “Snapped” and “Forensic Files”. “I love these shows. I’m also single, by the way,” he joked on “The Late Late Show.”  

An avid writer and reader, Hader once shared his book list with the New York Times. And, there are lots of true crime books to be found. 

The SNL alum parlayed his legendary love of “Dateline” into impressions of the series, host Lester Holt, and long-time correspondents, Josh Mankiewicz, Dennis Murphy, and his personal favorite, Keith Morrison. 

His fanboy moment came full circle when he was invited to the “Dateline” production office, where he was surprised with a visit from Morrison. Giggling nervously while talking to his idol and calling it “the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me,” Hader even got to film a promo for an episode with Keith Morrison.
