Breonna Taylor's Neighbors Have Gotten More Justice Than She Has

No officers have been charged with Breonna Taylor's death, who was wrongfully shot and killed in her sleep by the police. The grand jury involved with the case had decided not to indict the officers involved with the murder of Taylor, prompting a series of protests in Kentucky and all over the US.

After around 195 days of protesting justice for the 26 year old EMT, no justice has been achieved other than state compensation to her family. Only one of the officers, Brett Hankison, will be indicted for shooting into Breonna Taylor's neighbor's home, not for the death of Taylor.

The Washington Post has reported that at least 100 people were arrested in the overnight protest in Louisville, Kentucky.
