Being a Bostonian, I’ve ventured to a few of the Boston based breweries being a bear lover myself. I love learning more about each breweries process and what they stand for. It makes for a great weekend activity of learning more all while getting to test out new flavors.
I’ve been to Harpoon, Downeast cider, Nightshift and a few outside of the Boston area. They were all unique and fun in their own way, and make me intrigued to visit others in the New England area.
A few friends wanted to drive to Two Roads brewery in Connecticut so I said why not go with them and try it out. I’ve never had any of their beers, so I went with them for the ride.
The atmosphere reminded me of Harpoon, with the big windows showcasing the steel barrels and the brewery room. I got a flight with a mix of lagers and some sour beers, and then got a full size of my favorite.
Brewery atmospheres are a lot of fun, and it’s a cool way to test out a bunch of their options at once. I didn’t get to do a tour, but it was still a nice experience. The night was complete with a food truck and good conversation.
Onto the next brewery, which one will it be?
