A Chicago resident who occupied his parking space with the help of frozen jeans is all over the internet.

Reserving of parking spaces is a regular practice in Chicago. People usually use traffic cones as a mark that the shoveled place belongs to someone.

However, Adam Selzer, who resides in West Ridge, shared photos on his twitter account depicting how he reserved his parking space using jeans that was shaped and frozen to perfection.

Adam stated in his Twitter post: “Polar vortex fun: pants with nobody inside them! Soak a pair, put outside. In about 20 minutes you can form them to shape, and in another 20, they’re solid,”

Furthermore, this isn’t the only thing Selzer thought of. Instead he had a plan to freeze some t-shirts and complete the project.

One person stated how she guessed the location:

“I saw the first picture and I knew it was Chicago immediately”

Another one tweeted how her husband was inspired by Adam and decided to freeze the pants too!

One person tweeted, “You inspired me! Frozen pants made their way to South Texas.”

Adam tweeted, “Now I’m an “American inventor,” which is fun. (Once again it’s all a lie. That’s not even a real parking space in the picture!)

He further elaborated: “The one thing I tried this time that I haven’t before is I also froze a couple of shirts, so we’ll see if this works”
