Two women in Florida disguised the appearance of elderly women with the help of bonnets and glasses to acquire the coronavirus vaccine, and it worked.

Jerry Demings, Mayor of Orange County and Dr. Raul Pino Florida Department of Health in Orange County, stated that the women were caught when they cleverly tried to obtain the second shot of the vaccine using the same trick they used before on Wednesday at the Orange County Convention Center.

“We haven’t had any lack of willing arms to get vaccinated. We also have people faking to be old to be vaccinated,” Pino stated. “So yesterday, we realized a couple of young ladies came dressed up as grannies to get vaccinated for the second time, so I don’t know how they escaped the first time, but they came (to get) vaccinated. The bonnet, the gloves, the glasses – the whole thing, and they probably were in their 20s”

Rino was unable to comprehend that how the two women got away the first time when they brought a valid vaccination card on the next visit.

However, he states that “there were some issues with their IDs and their Driver’s licenses”

Nevertheless, it is not certain if the women will face any charges yet.

Pino further asserted how it wasn’t the first case. Previously, a man showed up using his father’s ID to get vaccinated.
