It was all anyone could talk about last year when it was revealed that Lori Loughlin, actress known for the shows Full House and 90210, and her husband Mossimo Giannulli were involved in a scandal surrounding feud and bribery of USC school officials. They had reportedly paid the USC entrance committee $500,000, paid as a donation, in order to admit their two daughters into the school under the impression that they would join the rowing team.

After surrendering to the FBI, they were released of custody under a $1 million bail. On Friday, it was announced that Loughlin would be sentenced to 2 months in federal prison, while Giannulli serves 5, both due to report to prison on November 19 of this year.

She has, since the incident, expressed her remorse for what she's done and understands the legality issue of her crimes under the law. She also was quoted saying that she only really did what she did out o love for her daughters and wanting the best for them. The couple was two of the 50 people charged on March 12, 2019 in relation to bribery and fraud in a nationwide scandal.
