My friends and I decided to have Dim Sum for our branch. It's been a while we haven't been to Hai La Moon for Dim Sum, and it was still very crowed as any Sunday morning.
We were very lucky to be seated once we arrived there. My friend got her favorite "Bean Curd Rolls", which is made of tofu skin wrap stuffed with dry shrimp, bamboo strips and ground pork. But when she had her first bite, she suddenly spitted it out and said it tasted weird. In order to make sure that's not her only problem, I tried the left of the same roll, and I found out that the dry shrimp in the filling was not fresh, at all! But I don't want to make other customers feel bad if we talk loud about the food quality with the waiters, so we decided to communicate with only one waiter. After listening our complaint, luckily he didn't play rude and was willing to change another dish for us.
Here is the picture I took 4 years ago about their dim sum. I have to say, their food quality is dropping too much. They don't look tasty anymore. As a big Chinese restaurant with a huge traffic on weekend for dim sum, please take some responsibility for your big group of customers. At least, make sure all the food is fresh and clean. Thank you!
