When it comes to promoting TV shows, there is no stone that HBO leaves unturned. Most recently, the giant TV network has partnered with major marijuana businesses to market a line of cannabis edible gummies. The gummies serve as promotional material for HBO’s new animated series ‘Close Enough’. Leading Marijuana producer Kanha has engineered The 10mg THC gummies for HBO, and the different blends have been made available across dispensaries in California. The gummies are also available for purchase via Eaze.

HBO and Kanha created 4 different blends of marijuana gummies to reflect the personalities of the four main characters on the network’s new animated series. HBO wanted to create an authentic campaign for its new show, something that delivered the essence of Close Enough’s plotline. What was even more amazing was that the HBO show did not necessarily involve cannabis in its storyline, rather the show is an adult comedy series that touches on themes like raising children and navigating careers.

Kanha and HBO are, however, both very excited about their collaboration. “Kanha’s partnership with HBO Max is an exciting opportunity to showcase our delicious, award-winning gummies to a brand new audience,” Cameron Clarke, CEO of the Kanha, said. “We can’t think of a more playful, fun collaboration to announce to our fiercely loyal fans. We’re thrilled to partner with one of entertainment’s biggest media giants to help bring the adult characters in their new show to life through our gummy flavors and profiles.”
