Covid-19 may have canceled millions of gathering around the world but this doesn’t apply to the upcoming Halloween celebrations at Disney world. Despite the shutting down of ‘Mickey’s Not So Scary’ Halloween party at the world-famous theme-amusement park, the company and it’s subsequent park authorities have decided to scale down the arrangements organized for the spooky season.

The original elements of the Halloween celebrations at the Magic Kingdom like fireworks show parades, trick or treating, Halloween themed rides have been substituted with subtler, socially distant activities like Disney characters decked up in Halloween outfits, Halloween spirit festive decorations, season-appropriate treats, and a whole new range of limited Halloween merchandise online and in stores.

While ‘Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party’ idea was ditched, the parks kept the spirits running with the assistance of mini parades of your favorite characters like Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and others who would also wear Halloween garments as part of the festivities now.

Kids, as well as adults, are now permitted to roam around the park dressed up in spooky outfits at Magic Kingdom’s normal park hours, unlike previous years where adults were only allowed to wear outfits during the after-hours events. The costume and precautionary guidelines adhering to proper face covering are still ruling when it comes to costumes.

The whole gala like décor would come down to simple ornaments but the famous Mickey wreaths will still make an appearance along the Main Street U.S.A. Halloween themed merchandise as well as face mask collections would welcome enthusiastic buyers while Festive/fall themed eatery items will be available at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal kingdom.
