How to set up your Gmail account in Outlook?


As we promised in the previous section, we will bring you to the process of how to set up Outlook in Gmail. So, here goes;

  • First, choose the File > Add Account.
  • Then, choose File, perhaps Add Account and then enter your email address and tap on Connect.
  • Outlook then starts a Gmail window that requires your password. Write the password down and choose Sign in.
  • If you have earlier allowed 2-factor verification for Gmail, you will be asked to write the code that is sent to your mobile device.
  • If you consist of a 2-factor authorization write the code down. A window appears of the permissions that the google account asks for, tap on Allow.
  • After Outlook finishes putting your Gmail account together, you can add one more email account or just tap on Done.
