I've been a little skeptical about oVertone since the hype started to build up around it. A hair dye that's not actually a hair dye and is just a conditioner? Preposterous. Someone even once tried to lecture me about using it when I dyed my hair a deep red-purple, and I was like *pfffff* what do they know? Well, apparently a lot because oVertone really works. oVertone is meant to be a subtler, temporary option to damaging your hair with dye, or if you still want to dye, is a nice option for maintaining the color between hair appointments. But how can it color your hair if it doesn't dye it? Instead of lifting and changing the color of your hair, it just deposits color, which is why it isn't long lasting but keeps your hair hydrated and healthy.

Honestly, I couldn't be happier with the results. The color stained by bathtub a little more than I would have liked, but the results are great, and I wholly encourage others to try out this product.
