Lionheart Racing Series Partners With ESTV And Racespot TV For Multi-Year Deals

The Lionheart Racing Series announced they came to a multi-year deal with nationwide 24-hour esports network ESTV today. The Lionheart Racing Series will feature 58 competitive open wheel sim racing events in 2021 which will include its The Lionheart IndyCar Series and The Lionheart Retro Series events.


“This couldn’t have come at a better time,” Lionheart Racing Series founder Jorge Anzaldo said. “We have worked extremely hard to get to this point. Forming this partnership with RaceSpot TV is going to open so many doors for our league.


ESTV Chief Executive Officer Eric Yoon commented on the partnership in a release: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Lionheart Racing Series to feature IndyCar racing events on ESTV’s worldwide esports channel. Sim Racing enthusiasts alike can now find round-the-clock esports and esports-related programming for free on ESTV channel.”

RaceSpot TV, a live eSports broadcast network focusing primarily on sim racing, also signed a multi-year broadcast package to cover all three of Lionheart’s premier online racing championships. In a press release, RaceSpot TV's COO and Head of Broadcast Operations Wil Vincent said, “Since our inception our company motto has been no gimmicks just awesome broadcasting. We believe that our job is to be storytellers for some of the world’s biggest eSports moments, whilst ensuring we provide a recognizable motorsports product to viewers who may be new to the concept of competitive eSports. We invest heavily in every aspect of our product to ensure that every broadcast provides informative commentary and lasting memories.”


The popularity of open wheel sim racing has increased astronomically during the COVID-19 crisis due to a lack of real-life racing events at the time making it ECTV, RaceSpot TV, and The Lionheart Racing Series poised now more than ever before to find success n this major move. The Lionheart IndyCar Series begins on March 3rd, 2021 at Homestead Miami Speedway.
