Ever since the Sussex couple left their duties as senior royals behind and started a new chapter as American residents, they have been the topic of discussion media platforms nearly every week.
After the impactful screening of the documentary film ‘Elephant’ narrated by the Duchess, it was reported that she might make a comeback on screens but it wasn’t clear how. Now as reports suggest, the Sussexes are in for inaugurating their very own production company which would produce documentaries, docu-series, feature films, scripted television shows, and children’s programs which may be a part of the multi-year deal signed with Netflix.
The couple pushes their objectives towards producing quality content as well as effective child-friendly programs as a way of delivering delight to the viewers. ‘’Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope. As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us.’’ The Duke and Duchess quoted. They also added that Netflix’s "unprecedented reach will help us share impactful content that unlocks action.’’ '
Meanwhile, Netflix’s co-Chief Executive Ted Sarandos narrated that ‘’We're incredibly proud they have chosen Netflix as their creative home and are excited about telling stories with them that can help build resilience and increase understanding for audiences everywhere.’’
The couple isn’t entirely new to the show creating business as along with Markle’s projects like ‘Suits’ and ‘Elephant’, Prince Harry has also been involved in contributing to more Tv shows in the recent past like Netflix’s documentary ‘Rising Phoenix’ and a mental health documentary series that he will co-produce with Oprah.
