Do you ever find yourself just wanting to do something new?
I feel like as we get older we stop trying as many new things. As a kid, we try out new sports or take up new hobbies pretty consistently as we're figuring out who we are and who we want to be. But once you settle in to your hobbies and preferred sports as an adult, most people tend not to branch out and try something new.
I want to try new things. I want to take up new hobbies for no reason other than to try something I've never tried before. I want to start playing sports again and enjoy that feeling of fun and hard work that comes with it. I just want to start exploring the world more through actually doing things and creating.
What do you miss doing that you don't anymore? Even if you don't want to take up a new hobby, try taking up an old hobby you've let fall by the wayside. For instance, I want nothing more than to get back in to doing photography, and have been hindered primarily by not knowing if my camera is broken or just needs a new charger. I've let something so simple stop be from doing what I love.
I need to buy a new charger (and maybe a new camera), get out of my apartment, and just go do it. And so do you. Just go do it.
