Tech Company Will Pay You $280,000 To Get Your Face Printed On A Robot

A tech company is offering to pay people a whopping $280,000 if they agree to have their faces imprinted on their robots.

Promobot, a Europe-based Robotics manufactures is has announced its plans to launch its robots in hotels, shopping centres, and airports in North America and the Middle East starting in 2023.

According to its website, “Our company is developing technologies in the field of facial recognition, as well speech, autonomous navigation, artificial intelligence and other areas of robotics. “Since 2019, we have been actively manufacturing and supplying humanoid robots to the market.

‘A robot with a new appearance will start its activities in 2023, and a selected person’s face will become this robot’s appearance,’ Promobot explained.

Promobot says that the application for face imprinting is open to all people regardless of race and ethnicities, although applicants need to be 25 or older to apply. Priority will, however, be given to those bearing a kind an endearing appearance, are they are better suited for service purposes.

Successful applicants must also participate in a rigorous developmental phase to get an accurate 3D model of their physique. Additionally, people will have to provide a speech input of approximately 100 hours so the robots can better understand the voice patterns, and accents, as well as emulate their mannerisms.

Successful applicants must also sign a license agreement, whereby they would yield the right of using their face and voiceover to Promobot for an indefinite period of time.
