The movie Megan is Missing has been trending all of a sudden on the social media app TikTok and on the web. The movie's memory was revived when TikTok users started posting about their reactions to the film. The movie is a psychological horror movie about a girl a girl who goes missing.
The movie is controversial because some are questioning whether the footage used is real and if it's based on a true story. in response to the commotion and the viral status of the film, the creators spoke out, warning watchers about the film.
The writer and director, Michael Goi, went to TikTok to tell viewers to be careful before choosing to watch. He said he got a text from the lead actress in the movie, Amber Perkins, saying that the movie had gone viral on the app.
"I didn't get to give you the customary warnings that I used to give people before they watched Megan is Missing," he said. "Do no't watch the movie in the middle of the night. Do not watch the movie alone. And if you see the words 'photo number 1' pop up on your screen, you have about 4 second to shut off the movie if you're already kind of freaking out before you start seeing things that maybe you don't wanna see."
While Goi has issued a warning, this will no doubt prompt people who haven't seen the flick to want to do so even more. Will you be watching Megan is Missing after all this or will you stick to comedic light-hearted ones after all we've went through this year? Let us know in the comments below!
