The Fault is our star book review

This book is about a melancholic love story of Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters who are battling cancer. They met in a support group for cancer and fell in love with each other.

This book compels you to ponder about the sufferings and misery of people. I felt so grateful for what I have after reading this book. Self- image of most of the cancer patients(especially kids and teenagers) is deteriorated and they are socially isolated.

Hazel loves a book called 'An Imperial Affliction' and reads it again and again. The book ended leaving many questions unanswered. Her only last wish was to meet the author of the book and ask him the questions which were quarreling in her mind. The author lives in Amsterdam(Netherlands) whereas Hazel lives in Indiana(United States). Her parents cannot afford an International trip. Augustus loved Hazel and thus he makes it a goal of his life to grant Hazel's wish. Will she be able to get the answer to her questions? What will happen to both of them?
