West Virginia has devised a novel method for completing Covid-19 vaccines.

The name of each vaccine recipient will be entered into a drawing, and the winners will be given free weapons.

The drawings will take place from June 20 to August 4, and participants will have the opportunity to win five custom hunting rifles and five bespoke hunting shotguns.

There will also be two brand-new, custom-fitted trucks, five lifetime hunting and fishing licences, and 25 trips to the state's many parks to be given away.

But, just when you thought West Virginians didn't have enough reasons to be vaccinated, the state announced a cash lottery system.

Every week for a little more than a month, one person will earn $1 million.

On August 4, the main prize of $1.58 million will be selected, while the runner-up will earn $588,000. The state also awards two full four-year scholarships to any university in the state to people aged 12 to 25.

West Virginia Governor Jim Justice revealed the strategy this week at a news conference, and he is excited and hoping that it will work.

"The faster we get individuals across the finish line, the more lives we save," he remarked.

"That's the only thing there is to it. If the bill is not paid, the cost will be high. The hospitalizations are massive. We need to get everyone across the finish line."

People who have received either the first or both doses of a coronavirus vaccine are eligible.

West Virginia is one of many states in the United States that has developed a vaccination incentive scheme to urge individuals to be vaccinated against the pandemic.

Free cannabis, free doughnuts, and free gym memberships have all been promised.

The goal is to provide people with a cause to obtain the vaccine that isn't tied to safeguarding their community and themselves from a pandemic.

According to health officials, 51.4 per cent of West Virginia residents have already received their first flu shot.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that 40.9 per cent of the population in the United States had been completely vaccinated.

President Joe Biden wants 70% of Americans to have one vaccine injection by July 4th and 160 million individuals to be fully immunised.
