Thinking of others

Boston, MA Boston

I haven’t really been a big online shopper before. I usually think of things me and my family need, and make a list and head to the store. Even though I have two little kids, I still like to get out of the house and pick up the things we need.

That’s why I haven’t ever jumped on the Amazon bandwagon. Even today being Cyber Monday, I don’t really feel the need to load up on things for myself or my family. I find these shopping days to be a little selfish and cause people to buy things they don’t even need.

For that reason, I tend to focus more on giving Tuesday. I look into different charities, and I like to see how I can help my community and the world.

Because I have kids, I have a special place in my heart for any kids struggling of any families I need. This giving Tuesday I am going to make a donation to a charity that helps young kids in need.

I would rather spend money to make a difference rather than go find deals on unnecessary items. This gives me much more satisfation and gets me into the blessed part of the holidays that are meant for giving and helping others.

If you can, set a little money aside and try and make a difference in the lives of others.
