Truck crashes into Florida mini-golf course, kills 2 children

Two children were killed this Friday, December 4th when a truck crashed into a mini-golf course in Panama City Beach, Florida. The unidentified children were two siblings from Louisville, Kentucky on a trip with their family, one was a 4-year-old boy and the other was a 6-year-old girl.

Police responded to the scene and the driver was identified as Scott Donaldson, he drove his 2007 Chevrolet Silverado onto the Coconut Creek Golf and Maze and struck the children with his car. One child died at the scene, the other died at a nearby hospital; what caused the crash is still unknown at this time.

he Coconut Creek Golf and Maze closed on Saturday and released a Facebook post quoting a Bible verse, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Panama City Beach Police’s traffic homicide unit is currently investigating the incident. PCPB spokesperson Debbie Ward released a statement, “This is a tragic event and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family… We have grief counselors and clergy with the family since this happened.”
