The WHO and ILO have suggested actions to protect workers' health after their study on long working hours. They said governments should enforce laws that ban mandatory overtime. Bipartite or collective bargaining agreements between employers and workers' associations can arrange working time to be more flexible, they added. They also suggested that employees could share working hours.
